About Wright Safety

Wright Safety is owned and operated by Jason Wright, a Work Health and Safety Consultant known for his solutions-focussed approach, and straight-forward communication of complex problems.

Originally trained as a Chemist, Jason spent the initial years of his career working in and managing laboratory teams and facilities. In these environments safety is a practice, not just theory. From this operational background Jason has developed a keen eye for identifying hazards and risk controls that are practical and achievable.

Through years of training students in tertiary research laboratories, Jason has the patience to ensure personnel clearly understand risk and why health and safety practices are necessary. From his experience managing teams Jason also has a keen understanding of operational pressures and the need to balance productivity with efficient safety practices – achieving risk reduction without unnecessary administrative burden.

Jason later formalised his Work Health and Safety credentials while working at one of Perth’s leading Universities as a Chemical Safety Specialist. Three years later he founded his consultancy business which has now been rebranded to Wright Safety.

Jason has provided advice and solutions for clients across three States and a range of industries, including: construction, civil construction, QA/QC testing, manufacturing, and tertiary education research.
